JUNE 2026 CMVIP ROUND LETTER_1

Dear Ministry Colleagues, Brothers and Sisters, and Volunteers,

“This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”   (Zechariah 4:6)

In modern ministry operations, we are often chased by numbers. As we look at financial reports, stare at offering columns every month, or immerse ourselves in filling out one fund grant application after another (yet failing to secure them based on religious grounds), a feeling of heaviness and helplessness inevitably creeps into our hearts. We often ponder: “Without this funding, how can the ministry carry on?”

The life of George Müller, the 19th-century “Father of Orphans,” stands as the gentlest yet most shocking reminder to this generation. He cared for tens of thousands of orphans, yet he never raised funds from men or turned to borrowing, relying solely on the prayer of faith. On many occasions, there was not even food for the next meal in the orphanage kitchen, but he still led the children in saying grace. Wonderfully, a bread van would often knock on the door at the very next second.

Müller once remarked: ” So long as there is any natural hope, faith does not spring up as it does when all hope is gone. The greater the difficulty, the easier the faith.” Lord, teach us to learn the lesson of praying entirely by faith in seemingly lacking circumstances. In the moment considered most difficult and hopeless by man, let our hearts look up to You alone.

In July, CMVIP will host the course “From the Dead Sea to the Sea of Galilee,” taught by Pastor Wong Pui-kei. Through the geography of the Jordan River, these four sessions will guide everyone to learn four Biblical teachings, witnessing God’s wondrous creation and His people’s trust and obedience. We pray that the Holy Spirit will move mightily, making God’s Word like a living spring that refreshes people’s hearts and guides them to live a life pleasing to the Lord.

Ministry Needs and Prayers:

  1. Please pray earnestly for the preparation of the three-day, two-night Summer Camp. May God keep all participants safe. Furthermore, we pray that the Holy Spirit will work personally in each’s heart, allowing their lives to be touched by the Lord’s love, built up in faith, and filled with beautiful fellowship and rest in the Lord.。
  2. Please remember the CMVIP in your prayers as we prepare for the broadcasting of the Hong Kong Bible Conference from August 1st to 10th, alongside the proofreading and printing of Braille programs. May the Lord grant us wisdom and sufficient manpower so that all technical operations and Braille publications run smoothly. Pray that our visually impaired brothers and sisters can participate in this annual spiritual feast simultaneously through CMVIP’s broadcast network, and that their lives will be greatly edified!

May the Lord’s love be with you always!

In Christ
