May 2026 Newsletter

Dear Ministry Colleagues, Brothers and Sisters, and Volunteers,:

「He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.」

(Isaiah 40:11)

Since 1990, the CMVIP has been dedicated to the Evangelism Explosion (EEIII) program. Our mission is to empower visually impaired brothers and sisters not only to receive God’s grace but to “put on the full armor of God”—transforming them into Christ’s soldiers who lead others to the Lord and train new disciples.

Looking back over the past thirty years, the flame of the Gospel has never wavered. Even during the pandemic when physical outreach was impossible, our team members never stopped. Via Zoom, they encouraged one another and memorized scriptures word by word, shielding the fire of evangelism from the storm.

To help more churches understand the spiritual lives of the visually impaired and to fulfill the mission of unity in the Body of Christ, we sincerely invite your church to partner with us:

  • “CMVIP Sunday” (Evangelistic Sunday) : We can arrange for visually impaired pastors to deliver sermons or share the Word. Additionally, visually impaired brothers and sisters can provide personal testimonies, sharing how God has paved a path of light within the darkness.
  • Ministry Sharing & Fellowship : We are eager to visit your church’s fellowships or small groups to share our ministry. We can also lead visually impaired individuals to participate in your gatherings. Through face-to-face interaction, believers can learn practical ways to care for and walk alongside the visually impaired.
  • Experience & Equipping : Through these sharing sessions, we hope to ignite a passion among brothers and sisters for disability ministry, empowering the congregation to act as “salt and light” together within the community.

Ministry Needs and Prayers:

  1. Thanksgiving for the New Braille Embosser : Praise the Lord! After overcoming numerous challenges, our new Braille printing embosser is now officially operational. This is more than just a piece of hardware; it serves as a vital bridge that transforms God’s Word into the “warmth at one’s fingertips” for the visually impaired.
  2. Prayer for EEIII Trainees : Please pray for the resolve, perseverance, and wisdom of our students currently enrolled in the EEIII course. May God equip them thoroughly for His work, enabling this ministry to continue upholding and responding to the Great Commission of Christ.
  3. Prayer for Global Fellowship : We lift up our visually impaired brothers and sisters in Hong Kong and across the globe. We ask Heavenly Father to guide them in finding inclusive churches that meet their specific needs, allowing them to attend services consistently and receive continuous spiritual nourishment, regardless of where they are.
  4. Prayer for Financial Support : Please continue to pray for our center’s general fund. We ask the Father to move the hearts of many to join our “Walking together Monthly Donation Scheme.” Through regular offerings, we hope to secure the necessary expenses for our daily operations, ensuring that this literature and Gospel ministry can grow sustainably without financial worry.
