Feberuary 2024 Newsletter

Dear Brothers, Sisters and Volunteers:
「But in every man who keeps his word, the love of God is made complete. By this we may be certain that we are in him:。」 (1 JOHN 2:5)
I was 45th year since the establishment of CMVIP in 1979 marks the start of another three-year plan. The goal of our three-year programme is “Connecting in Love, Carrying on the Work”, it is a challenging and far-reaching mission. Love is a core in Christian value. Apostle Paul said, “Now abiding are faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love”. The greatest of these is love. “Now” means present, and “abiding” means always existing. Through caring, respecting, accepting and serving the Lord, we can learn to love people and make them willing to listen to the Gospel message.
In the begining of 2024, CMVIP would like to deepen the peer relationship with a group of visually impaired pastors and to establish a time of fellowship. Therefore, we plan to have the first prayer meeting with visually impaired pastors in March. The prayer meeting will include hymns and worship, quiet devotions, and prayer sharing with each other. We hope to support our visually impaired pastoral through prayers and to continue to walk together in God’s hand.
Ministry needs and prayers:
1.Please pray for the preparations for the 45th Anniversary Celebration. CMVIP will have exhibition booths at popular places during August and September to let more people know about the work of CMVIP. In addition, there will be a Thanksgiving Service and Dinner in November, where we will be able to count the Lord’s blessings with the visually impaired. Last but not least, the Centre will have a walkathon in January 2025, so that we can take every step for the Gospel of the Lord!
2.Please pray for the first Prayer Meeting of Visually Impaired Pastors. We hoped that CMVIP will give more support for visually impaired pastors in their work.。
3.We thank the Lord that CMVIP Magazine has received funding from the CWM / Nethersole Fund again this year. We pray that our heavenly Father will use this tool to help the visually impaired to take deeper root in the relationship with God.
4.Please pray for CMVIP’s regular contribution. Pray that more brothers and sisters will be moved to give regularly every month. The deficit of the Centre for the financial year 2023-2024 is $200,000 until now, so please pray that brothers and sisters will see the need of the CMVIP.。
